Meet Rudy and Dawkin, two exceptional Black British Labrador Retriever boys who truly embody everything people love about the British lines.
British Labs are typically smaller and more balanced than American Labs, maturing around 50 to 70 pounds. They are known for their blockier heads, thicker necks, shorter legs, and sturdy builds. While still athletic and bred with hunting ability in mind, British Labs are generally calmer and more steady compared to the larger, higher-energy American field lines.
These boys are absolute gems!
Rudy is the more relaxed and thoughtful of the two. He is a “thinker,” often observing before jumping in. He has a naturally steady presence, loves to cuddle, and thrives on being close to his people. He enjoys exploring on hikes and playing in the snow, but what truly stands out is his beautiful off switch. After activity, he settles easily and happily relaxes.
Dawkin is slightly more outgoing and confident. He is curious, adventurous, and naturally takes the lead between the two. He carries a healthy, confident presence and loves engaging with both people and new environments. Like his brother, he is affectionate, people-focused, and has a wonderful ability to settle after play.
Both boys adore being around their people, just as Labradors should. They have loved playing in the snow, exploring the woods on hikes, and experiencing the world around them with curiosity and confidence.
They have had extensive early exposure and socialization. Both are crate trained, sleeping through the night, well on their way with potty training, and actively working on house manners. They have been raised with intention to help them grow into confident, well-rounded companions.
Both mom and dad are AKC registered, though the puppies will not come with AKC registration papers.

This is John and Teresa ’s very first and only litter. While they absolutely adored the experience of raising these puppies, they have decided they are one and done.
They poured their hearts and souls into these pups from day one. Every detail, from early exposure and socialization to daily care and enrichment, was done intentionally and with love. These puppies were not simply raised. They were deeply cherished.
John and Teresa often joke that they are still unsure how they did not end up keeping every last one. If time allowed them to give each puppy the lifelong individual attention they deserve, they truly would have. That is how special these boys are to them.
While saying goodbye will be bittersweet, they are incredibly proud of the wonderful puppies they have raised and cannot wait to see them thrive in their new homes with very lucky families.
