Who We Are
My name is Sheila, and I am a mom of two, a dog mom of three, and the founder of Homemade Puppies. The idea for Homemade Puppies sprouted from my passion for helping dogs and helping people. Before I started this business, I became tired of seeing puppies raised in poor conditions, and I set out to change that narrative one puppy at a time. Since then, I have been connecting with quality, trusted breeders who raise healthy puppies to get them to solid homes. I desire for other families to have their homes filled with the warm happiness that comes with loving and raising a homemade puppy.
We currently have three adorable dogs in our home. We enjoy hiking, walking, and spending time with our dogs, even if that’s just snuggling on the couch with them. In the past, our middle Mini Labradoodle has had a few litters of puppies that we raised in our laundry room. We thoroughly loved and nurtured our home-bred puppies until it was time for them to be adopted. It was gratifying to see them meet and join their loving, adoptive families, and I even had the joy of accompanying several of them on flights as they went to their new homes. At this time, our two Mini Labradoodles, Cooper and Amber, are our faithful companions. Watson is our male mini poodle, and he thinks he runs the show at his full 7 pounds.

We give responsible in home family breeders a platform to advertise their healthy puppies to families looking to add that perfect furry companion to their home.
Our puppies are always cared for in a loving home with family. We provide an honest representation of where each litter is being raised, assuring our customers that they’re purchasing a homemade puppy from a healthy home.
We have built a trustworthy reputation over five years with great experience in raising healthy dogs. Our experience includes breeding dogs, artificial insemination, raising homemade puppies and serving as a flight puppy nanny when the adoptive home is far away.
We’ve interacted with different breeders in the past and became frustrated with conditions that some puppies were being raised in. It’s heartbreaking to see dogs viewed only as income through breeding. Sadly many times website photos do not reflect the reality of the conditions that puppies are being raised in.
This is why we started Homemade Puppies LLC, our desire is to be a safe and reliable source where what you see is in fact reality - a puppy being raised and cared for in a loving home.
