History

The Miniature Labradoodle was actually one of the first designer dog breeds to exist. While the exact origins of the breed are uncertain, it is likely that the Miniature Labradoodle was developed in the United States during the 1950s. The breed was created by crossing a Labrador Retriever with a Miniature Poodle, resulting in a dog that inherited the best traits of both parent breeds. Today, the Miniature Labradoodle is still one of the most popular designer dog breeds, and its friendly temperament and low-shedding coat make it an ideal companion for families.
